Mission and Vision
My goal is to produce safer, competent, and proficient airmen and be accountable to my community. I offer instruction in single engine and multiengine airplanes toward private pilot, instrument rating, sport pilot, commercial certification, flight instructor initial and add-ons. We focus on risk management starting on day one in the process and phase in added procedures that keep you safer. For aeronautical knowledge, we can use online training providers to customly assign, track, and evaluate ground school progression in manageable stages. I offer a syllabus, structured lessons, accountability, and a customizable plan to fit your pace as a fresh candidate seeking training or an experienced pilot knocking off the rust. We adopt and embrace automation early in the process and utilize electronic flight bags such as ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot and FltPlan Go.

Services
I can provide a discovery flight in an available aircraft today. As an independently contracted, certified, and insured flight instructor, I can arrange to provide instruction in a very well-maintained ACA Super Decathlon 8KCAB, Piper Archer PA-28, or Cessna Skyhawk C172 out of John Tune airport. I currently specialize in tailwheel transition, spin training/awareness/endorsements, flight reviews, instrument proficiency checks, G1000 transition, and pilots returning to flight status. I can also teach primary flight instruction toward your initial or add-on ratings and pilot certificates. The student can also provide their own insured aircraft. I additionally carry flight instructor non-owned insurance.

Community Responsibility
I have many years of experience as a volunteer search and rescue pilot, locating emergency transmitters from the air and ground, flying disaster relief and damage assessment aerial photo survey, escort missions with the military, and providing many of the nation's youth and educators their first discovery of flight. Here are examples of volunteer orientation flight photos for youth, AFROTC, and educators. All CAP activities and instuction are provided at no charge.
